The material of the book cover comes in two types.
There are two color variations for each material (pink&blue gray and red&black).
The colors of the letters were carefully chosen to match the cover.
The title on the front cover is done in gold lead, with a neat and smooth texture of the binding, and the finest paper to bring out the best for this special book.
Made in Japan.
The text is in Japanese.
Due to its material, the red and black velvet may be delicate to dust.
Novala Takemoto
Born in Kyoto. His first novel was “Mishin(Sewing Machine),” published in 2000.
Was nominated for the Yukio Mishima Award with his novel, “ Emily” and “Lolita(ロリヰタ)”
The novel “Shimotsuma monogatari (Kamikaze Girl)” was a huge success which was also made into film by director Tetsuya Nakajima.
Other works are “Sicilienne,” “Taima,” “Hasan(Bankruptcy), “Beicho-kaidan(Talk between the United States and Japan)” and so on.
Known for his unique and refined style of writing and his pursue for beauty which are implemented into his writing.
Sachiko Matsushita
Most of her original work are done using acrylic painting and letters.
Has experience in creating the visual image for department stores, drawing the cover for music albums, and painting illustrations for books.
