This is a gothic skeleton bonnet designed and made by me. It is made of a beautiful cotton fabric over an interfacing base with handmade cotton ruffles at the front and back, soft venice lace, and a braid gimp trim lining the underside. The bonnet is embellished with two life size foam skeleton hands grasping at the side and top. Each fingertip and palm is hand sewn to the base of the bonnet through the wool felt strongly adhered to the underside. The piece fastens with white "skeleton arms" double face satin ribbon embellished with double face satin ribbon bows at the wrists.
