The title of the series is based off a 歇后语 (xie hou yu), or Chinese riddle, that is structured in two parts. The first is an introduction to the mystery and the second part answers, or provides the context, to the first statement. In this example, the statement "Yama marries off his daughter" is answered by 鬼才要, or "ghost wants it!" Being that in Chinese and Buddhist mythology, Yama is a wrathful god that judges the dead and presides over hell, the implication is that no one would want to marry his daughter. In a broader context, the riddle warns against associating and speaking poorly of people with great power and strong tempers.
